We, Hi-Tech Solar Systems have developed an UNIQUE and INNOVATIVE designed fence for deterring intrusion from ELEPHANTS.

‘REGULATED’ pulsed electric current is sent along the fence wire, about one pulse per second, from an energizer which is earthed. When the animal touches the fence it completes the circuit between the fence and the ground and receives a short, sharp but safe shock. The shock is sufficiently memorable that the animal never forgets. If the ground is very dry, the fence may require an earth system.

The energizer must have enough power for the length of fence and for the animals being controlled. 

A power fence is a psychological barrier so doesn’t need great physical strength. However, it must be well designed and constructed to absorb some pressure from animals.

HANGING FENCE FOR ELEPHANT CONTROL

We, Hi-Tech Solar Systems have developed an UNIQUE and INNOVATIVE designed fence for deterring intrusion from ELEPHANTS.
In our vast experience in this domain, we have observed that ELEPHANT is an intelligent animal. It has equally developed methods to negotiate an ELECTRIC FENCE. Hence controlling the specie is an arduous task.

Our Hanging fence is a pair of fence wherein the Primary fence is upto 14ft tall. The pole interval is designed to be at much longer span than conventional. Energized wires are dropped downwards akin to a curtain. It is common phenomenon that elephants are habitual to uproot the poles. In the curtain fence, the suspended wires ensure elephant does experience the shock when in contact with the Energized wires and in the absence of poles the elephant is unable to uproot the poles.

The secondary fence is the typical full height electric fence from the ground. This will further arrest intrusion from all other types of domestic and feral species.

We have successfully undertaken many projects in ELEPHANT PRONE areas in Tamilnadu and Kerala.
